June is Elder Abuse Awareness Month

Every year, millions of older adults experience abuse, neglect, or exploitation — and far too many suffer in silence. Nationally, 1 in 10 older adults have been affected, but only 1 in 14 cases are ever reported.

Milestones and the Iowa Area Agencies on Aging are working together to raise awareness, provide support, and protect older Iowans.
