The Milestones Board of Directors participates in the development of policy and major decision-making. Meeting agendas and approved minutes are posted below. This is also where you will find notice of public hearings posted whenever those are required, such as for the annual area plan comments or RFPs. Milestones Board of Directors is an active one, participating in the development of policy and major decision-making. Board meetings are typically held every other month on the third Thursday via Zoom. Advisory Council meetings are held quarterly also via Zoom. Approved minutes appear below. Board meetings are open to the public and any interested parties are invited to attend.
If you support Milestones Area on Aging’s work and mission, we are seeking community representatives from the counties we serve to sit on our Advisory Council. This would involve a time commitment to attend four meetings per year at which you would be updated on agency activities, and asked to provide input regarding our services and share needs in your county. We seek positive representatives who are willing to help inform others of the services available and how to access them.
