Fundraiser Supports Meals for Older Adults

Milestones Area Agency on Aging will host a Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser on Friday, February 7, from noon to 3:00 PM at the Keokuk Heritage Center, 508 Main Street, bringing together food, music, and community support for a great cause.

The event will feature chili samples from local chefs and restaurants, live music, and a silent auction, offering attendees a fun way to give back while enjoying nutritious comfort food. All proceeds will benefit Milestones’ Home-Delivered Meal Program, which provides nutritious meals to older adults who are homebound or unable to prepare meals on their own.

In addition to great food, the event schedule includes:

· 12:00–2:00 PM: Silent Auction

· 1:00–2:00 PM: Live Music

· 2:30 PM: Silent Auction Winners Announced

· 3:00 PM: Chili Contest Results

A $10 suggested donation helps ensure older adults in Lee County continue to receive nutritious meals and regular wellness checks through Milestones’ nutrition programs.
