POSITION SUMMARY
The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering meals to recipients’ homes.
ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS
Reports To: Area Supervisor, Nutrition
FSLA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Class: 2 or 3, Part-Time
Supervises: None
Salary Range: Pay Grade 1
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Deliver meals to home delivered nutrition participants within designated area.
2.Report safety concerns for meal delivery promptly.
3.Accurately complete reports and documents and submit in a timely manner.
4. Collect contributions, if applicable, in delivery area as directed by supervisor.
5. Be alert to clients in extreme need and report to supervisor.
6. Distribute Nutrition Education and other materials as assigned.
7. Collect and transport dirty trays and pans to kitchen from homes and sites as applicable.
8. Clean coolers and carriers as requested.
9. Assist with kitchen cleanup as scheduled.
10.Help promote all Milestones Nutrition Center programs
11.Participate in required employee meetings and training sessions
12.Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience & Education:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Valid driver’s license and access to and use of an insured, reliable, position appropriate personal vehicle and ability to travel as job requires.
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance or up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
SCHEDULE & SALARY
Schedule: Part-Time, Monday – Thursday 10:30a – 12:00p (6 hours/week)
Salary: $11.00/hour
